It's pretty interesting. We're all there voluntarily, settlers of a sort. Kinda like an old-west town in space. With technology from all sorts of different timelines, depending on what people have brought with them, and what our benefactors provided for us.

That reminds me of a holovid I played once. Sounds fun, or fun and challenging, I guess.

That's encouraging. Not that I'm really looking to have an impromptu ship reunion, it is nice to know that people are doing well for themselves, somewhere.

Considering the divergent nature of our histories, that makes little sense. I suppose very few things about this situation does.

Sometimes I wonder if our own timeline will continue. Which sounds strange, because obviously- it's not negated or anything.

Which is curious in itself, considering our own experiences with divergent timelines.

It was implied that our interferences eliminated the other potential timelines, was it not?

[She knows that was the case when the Relativity made her run around through time getting killed and resetting shit to prevent Voyager from getting blown up.]

Thank you, Seven. That is a whole pandora's box of guilt that I wasn't expecting to open today. [It said softly though, Harry couldn't raise his voice to her even if he was inclined to be temperamental, which he isn't.

Usually I try not to think about the ripples we've made in time. I suppose it must be the same for them.

The majority of our ship's crew could technically be considered accountable for our... adventures. [But they were celebrated instead. Some days Harry thinks they deserved one, and some days the other.]

Moving forward should be the goal now. Though I don't know if I'd be able to enjoy having my own ship without- [Without you, but also everyone else too.] the whole voyager family.

If you were to have your own command, it would preclude everyone being present--Captain Janeway would have her own command, if not a promotion. It is likely Commander Chakotay would as well.

Well, yes, and- [It's always been a dream of his to be Captain. The glimpses of it through other timelines have only made that desire more intense.] they deserve every promotion they can get.

Still, it would be nice to have a familiar face. [A beat.] You know, if I were to have my own command, I could use a First Officer with your skills.

For that, I would require a Starfleet commission, which I do not have.

Yeah, sorry, it was just an idea. [Sheepishly, Harry will have to remember to keep his daydreams confined to his own mind.

Though, for the record, he does think she'd make a fantastic officer, if she wanted to.]

[Either the best or the worst ever, really. There's no room for middle ground there.]

[Really, she doesn't. Life plans kinda don't happen when you spend most of it as a Borg drone. It worked well enough on Voyager, where she had skills she could utilize, talents to offer, but Starfleet is full of rules and regulations and she doesn't quite know where she fits.]

There are civilian science vessels that would be lucky to have you. [His tone really reflects the belief that anyone who gets Seven's time and attention is lucky to have it.]

I guess having that many options can be difficult though. [It was easy for Harry, he couldn't imagine he'd be happy in any life outside of Starfleet.]

I expect a civilian crew may not be as accommodating as our crew has been.

[Of course they'd be lucky. But they might not see it that way. She can be hard to get along with, after all--even without the fear of the Borg mucking with people's perceptions of her.]
