Listen, I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything. I'm flattered you wanted to bring me here.
[He smiles a little uneasily.]
I mean that, but do you really think this is a good idea? Most of the others around here know different versions of me, apparently from alternate universes.
[There's a short pause.]
Well, I don't have much of a choice either way, do I? You seem to think you know best. [And then he shrugs.] We'll see how it goes. Meeting other versions of me or people who know him might be interesting.
