If that is what you call 'way more irritating', then yes, I am inclined to agree.

[ For one, it's Sonic. Gender doesn't matter. Shadow's honestly not even put off by this.

[ He raises a single ridge, noting every common feature for a Sonic -- her fur, her eyes, her skin tone. This really is Sonic, both in appearance and in personality. (He isn't sure how well he feels for the last quality.) ]

Velocity. [ It's likely going to be tough to tell if that tone is exasperated, experimental, or a mix of both. The name does roll off the tongue, but he couldn't get nearly as used to that as Sonic. ]

You certainly are like the overtly smug hedgehog I know. [ Is that a compliment? Even Shadow himself isn't sure. He respects that blue hedgehog, but at the same time, his -- or her -- attitude just rubs him the wrong way, and... just...
