Not "for", "with". I work with Batman. I take it you're not familiar with him.

Nope, no joke. [He chuckles a little, not bothered by the lack of popularity here.] He's a good guy as long as you're not breaking the law.

A vigilante?

[browonder]

You could say that I guess, yeah. [Robin shrugs nonchalantly. Not the best word choice, but it'll do. It's preferred over some things people call them.]

Which means you're a sidekick.

[Better than the monkey for Rex.]

My friends and I prefer the term partner or protégé. [He leans in a little and talks behind his hand.] Protip: never mention the S-word around a guy named Red Arrow. He likes it even less than I do.

[Robin hops up onto a ledge and crouches there with perfect balance. Indulge his curiosity while the icon uploads continue.]

What's your story, Six?

[agentsix]

[....Six doesn't do 'sharing'. But he'll try for a brief synopsis.]

I'm an agent for Providence, we specialize in dealing with nanite threats and monsters.

[browonder]

[Sharing is caring, Six, but that will do.]

Huh. Never heard of Providence. Is that like the Justice League?

Oh! If you ever need help with a future nanite threat, give me a shout. I've had experience with those. Monsters too, but tinkering with tech is my specialty.

[agentsix]

It's an agency. Not a league.

[Six....doesn't seem enthusiastic about that idea. He has his hands full with one teenager already.] Thanks...but it's more complicated than tinkering with machines.

[browonder]

Secretive secret agents, then. Got it.

The more complicated the better! [Robin laughs, almost excited with the idea of an opportunity.]

I'd be throwing a bunch of fancy computer terms your way to show just how much I know, but the mun wouldn't even know what to look up first. [Way to drop the ball, man.]

[agentsix]

[Cocky young kid. Way too much like Rex, but hey, if Robin thinks he can handle himself...]

How would you handle a creature twenty foot tall with six arms and five mouths of teeth?

[browonder]

Hmm. [He contemplates a few scenarios and options while he rests his chin in one hand. Yeah he's... seriously thinking this through.]

Depends on the deets. Is its creator and/or operator anywhere in the vicinity? Do any of the mouths breathe fire or spray acid?

[Serious is good. That's promising that he wants to think it through.]

It used to be human. The nanites, when active, mutate a human into something similar.

[For the purposes of the hypothetical situation, Six picks one.] Acid.

[browonder]

[Robin chances a side glance at his mun, who's trying to skim an appropriate fandom wiki for clues.] Hey! No cheating!

[Ffff test of wits and improvisation. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.]

I'd cooperate with my teammates to take the monster down. Kid Flash can use his super speed and act as a decoy. Superboy would be a big help because of his strength and near-invincibility. I'd program and use a virus to destroy or disable the nanites, whichever poses the least amount of danger to the human host.

[agentsix]

[Six rubs his chin thoughtfully.] Hm.

[Those who know him well know that's an impressed hm.]

We try to disable them when possible. Some are incurable. [Unfortunately.]

What if you were by yourself? [Can't always count on your teammates to be there after all. However, he's already liking the fact he doesn't try to handle it alone like Rex does.]

[browonder]

By myself? [Robin thinks some more, now frowning a little.] That sure ups the difficulty level. I'm almost never flying solo.

[He won't say that it can get scary when it does happen. Just a little.]

My first priority would be getting civilians out of harm's way, if there are any present. Then... take it down the old-fashioned way.

[A hesitant pause. Argh.] If I can even do that. I'm not meta, and Godzilla-sized monsters haven't exactly been included in my training regime.

[Sometimes you have to get chucked into the deep end to see if you can swim.]

You have good priorities. At the very least, you could distract it till help arrived if it was too difficult a takedown.

Four years with Batman and going, but I started the acrobatic stuff way before that. [He pulls off an effortless one-hand stand as a simple demonstration.]
