I doubt any of them would be happy if that were to occur. So I fear that I must decline the offering. I have my hands full -- as the saying goes -- with convincing others of my rational state of mind.
It is far easier to say that the day simply got to me rather than allow them to keep and hold the knowledge of my ... weakness. After all, madness does have its own black mark, and I'd rather people felt they need not fear a blade slipping into their flesh whilst around me. Not that this is never a possibility, but it need not be one that people should know about. It certainly is not the type of conversation to have around polite company. Is that not right?
So, let us handle that little issue first.
