[Oh, goody! These little time discrepancies were so fascinating!]

Because of all the different people you'll meet from all the different universes! It might be a frightening place at first, but I'm sure you'll have no problem at all finding humans or vampires or magic-robot-girls to call 'allies'! You just don't get that kind of variety in our own 'verse'.
