About a potential return

I suppose I should be grateful that you're considering bringing me out of retirement so soon; one of the cycles in May, was it? Good for you...and if you're looking for more congratulations than that, you're coming to the wrong place - your showing was so horrendously lackluster before you left that I'll be surprised if your return even gets out of the gate.
And before you start with anything, of course I'm going to be cold to you about it. It will hardly motivate you any if I do otherwise, and I've never been opposed to being proven wrong. So I would suggest you get on that, if you can; I'm looking forward to seeing whether you can manage it.
Really, though, there's something to be appreciated in the fact that my spine will be decidedly less mangled this time around, and I won't be starting out in the middle of the frozen wilderness, and with no way out of said frozen wilderness on top of it. I do find the city to be much more to my liking, as a starting point goes. Don't get me started on the lack of explosives, however; I'm going to be fairly bitter about that for quite some time, believe me.
That said! As usual, I do encourage you to work all of this...hideous whatnot out of your system in a timely manner; I have work to return to, after all.
