It occurs to me that the two of us are very similar... A Shadow gaining a contract with humans and becoming more and more human, and a human gaining a contract with Shadows and becoming more and more Shadow-like.

It is as Igor said, the river has returned a rock to the flow... while that same river has lodged another deep into the ground, never to progress again. It never occurred to me to think that I might become a being not unlike Nyx, Nyartholep, or Izanami... Perhaps I should take steps to break the contract I have with the Shadows should I notice the changes... if I notice them.
