You get that I'm not going to buy it, right? Computers that connect to different worlds? Do I get to dodge bullets in the end?
But hey, relax with the whole application thing. You got this and even if they reject it, fix it and try again.

Why would they?

It depends on what you mean by other worlds, doesn't it? If you're talking about alternate universe theories, at least one says that new universes are created from different options, so whenever someone chooses something, there's another universe where they picked the opposite. I think no matter what choices I make in the future, it's unlikely to cause the internet not to exist, so in a sense, every version of the the people in those worlds right now is already using the same internet.
More esoterically, if you consider things like ghosts that people believe to exist but can't see, people have already made electronic devices to record their words. It would be be easy enough to make something similar to let them access the internet, don't you think?
There are probably plenty of other types of creatures mentioned in religion and folklore that would be similar, too. Surely there's a way to connect to another world when that world already overlaps with ours.
Though if you mean alien planets, then of course it's impossible. It's not as if you can simply run wires from one planet to another.
[All this rambled off a bit like she might be giving a science lecture. It clearly wasn't a stretch to think of it all.]

Ghosts are a big no for me, too. They were fun when I was in third grade but it's kind of hard to believe in now.
Anyway, I doubt her idea of different worlds come from different choices. Talking ponies kind of world, you know?

And I'm pretty sure it would be hard to make the internet without thumbs.
