[He lets her brush his hair, just silently staring up at her. What could he do to convince Snow White that she still wasn't as bad. She took one life to save and protect them, but it still wasn't right.

Her question makes him think for a moment. 'How do you know?'

How did he know if she wouldn't become that. Regina was good once, wasn't she? But, from all the things he's seen of her...and what he's read of Snow WHite and seen of Mary Margaret. The answer comes to him quickly.]

You regret it. Regina's never done that. To the people she's hurt.

[Except with him. But, that's different. She loved him and hated everybody else. Snow regretted killing a person she hated. So...it makes sense why he believes Snow won't go down that road.]
