[this is the most horrified expression right now on Link's face.

Stop and think about this for a moment.
If the MU had been created without the intention of making him Link's expy (why?), he wouldn't have a problem. But he was, and why are we pursuing a S-rank with Lissa of all people? Do you not realize how many people will want his head? DO YOU NOT REALIZE HOW HIS SMASH BROS WILL CRUELLY MURDER HIM FOR THIS?
he doesn't want to think about the girl's actual brother, with all the Falchion and Aether glory of a Great Lord because he's been hit by both Final Smashes and he's pretty sure he doesn't want to experience the pain of both of them at the same time from the same person]
P-Please reconsider!

He hasn't actually included the princesses and childhood best friend of his in that list because thinking of dying a terrible steamy death at the hands of his Smash Brothers in arms and their actual/spiritual successor is scary enough. Link doesn't want to think about what the girls would do.that's a lie, of course, he knows what Zelda and Midna are capable of and the potential thought of it scares him witless]
