On possibly apping to Exsilium.

I'm not sure about this, you know. I already promised Thorin I'd aid him on his quest. Now you want to send me to a far off place into the future. I don't want to go to the future, I belong here.

A Thorin is already over there, I know but....I'm just unsure about this whole new adventure idea.

Isn't one enough with you? There could be creatures in this future, dangerous ones too. Please, think about this, won't you?

I do trust Thorin, it is just....the idea of being in the future. Somewhere everything is different from where I am now. It....frightens me.

Of course, I understand well how it must feel. I spent quite a bit of time simply learning how to use their method of communicating.

[Apparently sending letters is old fashioned there.]

They use this. It acts almost alike a window, you can see the other person and hear them.

Does your world lack dangerous creatures, halfling?

I doubt anyone in Middle Earth could imagine such a contraption. Oh and yes, you can. I was a bit startled the first time I saw it in use.

[A bit? She dropped it and screamed a little. Actually, she'd dropped it a couple times but that first time wasn't from it surprising her but rather her husband.]

It sounds interesting. Once I find myself in Exsilium, I will surely need some help using this device.
