On not reserving fast enough, needing cross-canon CR and canon-reviewing solidifying the muse

You missed your opportunity, Miss Mundane. That's really all there is to say about it, isn't it?

But I will say it is comfortable here, and the game we are playing is interesting enough. All these little scenarios. I think I will stay a while. Just be a good girl and let me talk to someone other than John and Sherlock, would you?

Good, that's a dear.
profitableboron: (At least you stopped boxing yourself.)

...Sherlock?

Isn't that twentieth century literature? "Elementary, my dear Watson"?
profitableboron: (There is no Salvation Army on the moon.)

Wait, wait...you mean he's a real person where you're from?
profitableboron: (Two weeks. Three years is a long time.)

Yeah...yeah, an old series of books. Think there's one about a dog. That's been over a hundred years ago by now, at least.

[Did Sam mention he lives on the moon? No? Oops.]

He's the main character, yeah. Not exactly required reading in my field of study, so I can't say anything about his personality. Though there were a bunch of movies and stuff, and he was known for a big nose, pipe, and hat, I think it was.

Which part?
profitableboron: ([Tess | Edit] I loved you fifth.)

I, uh. You're...his uh, girlfriend, then?
profitableboron: ([2 | 6] You go home. Travel for me.)

[Hey, Sam's not going to judge. Even if he's married with a daughter (or...wasn't, but a clone), it's not like he's never heard of friends with benefits.]

Oh...so Holmes and Watson were closer than detective buddies. The things you learn in this place.
profitableboron: (That'll do Gerty. That'll do.)

[personal profile] profitableboron 2012-02-13 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Bell. Sam Bell.

[He extends a hand. That's the twenty-first century thing, yeah? Not that...not that he ever met a person from Earth but when he met the sixth clone of Sam Bell, he really wanted to shake his hand.]

Think I'm, uh...a bit further in the future than you, ma'am.
profitableboron: (Nine hundred and thirty-eight hours.)

[No first name? Probably a job thing, he reckons.]

The pleasure's mine. Not every day you meet someone who knows Sherlock Holmes.

[Or...anyone at all, in Sam's case.]
profitableboron: (There is no Salvation Army on the moon.)

Bromance? I, uh...pretty sure that wasn't a word or known "thing" when it was written, no.
profitableboron: (Hallucinating home?)

[personal profile] profitableboron 2012-02-13 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
For you or him?
profitableboron: (The future runs on slave labor.)

Is that your thing, then? Getting his goat or whatever you wanna call it.
