[See Connor pace. Pace, Connor, pace. Back and forth he goes, his stride long, his turns quick. In front of him, he feverishly works over the knuckles of his left hand.
He veers off to the side suddenly, a few defiant steps taken in his mundane's direction. He goes on to gesture as he speaks.]
You claim to understand what it is I fight for, to sympathize with my cause and that of the Brotherhood, but you have me trapped in that distant and dying land, far from my people, surrounded by others whose freedom has also been stolen from them in this manner. [He points at his captor.] I will not continue to take part in this game. I am through with being played.
[Gosh, seems a little late to be complaining about the rp thing considering it's been a couple months already. You'd almost think something else entirely set him off... Oops, there he goes pacing again.]
Why do you insist on watching those... those... [DLC clips?? ... Hey, you point that hurt scowl somewhere else, young man.] Over and over again, you have watched them. It is enough.
[At that some of his bluster fades. His pacing slows and he throws his head back, angry and frustrated and... and those other emotions that are infinitely more difficult to deal with.]
A dream, a trick of the Templars... You wonder so much what it might be, but it matters little. The story will change nothing, mundane. You will see that soon. [Once more, with... less volume-] It will change nothing.
