fourtythird: (and around [ challenged in the ])

(no subject)

You have a funny way of looking around this. Do you know what you're doing or even what's at stake?

We're looking for Earth, taking me to some other world won't help in this. While finding out about others worlds would be interesting, especially those from Earth; from our past, it won't help in the long run - we won't be able to remember.

Maybe you need to finish your reading first, catch yourself up on the information that you need? Trying to rush it like I did with Doctor Baltar won't help you - it'll confuse you more than anything. Take it slowly, make sure that you've considered all of your options. Than we'll negotiate.

Good luck getting your mun to 'negotiate', Madame President.
frakandfight: (frak you)

Mundanes aren't politicians, they're like the Cylons. They do whatever the frak they want, no negotiations. Sir.

[ Starbuck's own tenure as a captive on New Caprica comes to mind. Yup, sounds about right.]

You too? Something tells me, negotiating is something they really don't care much about. Mine's back to thinking about it again, thanks to yours and I thought we were past it.
heroldman: (now see)

Yeah Husker's more a younger him

It could be, or it could be a complete wash, either way it has to be better then being on the run. I say we go for it, what's the worst that's going to happen?
heroldman: (lets see now)

I'm very proud of it :D

[personal profile] heroldman 2012-02-13 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
I have to agree with that. And no they won't, worst we'll have to deal with is Starbuck and any others around that like to cause trouble.
heroldman: (subtle smile)

It fits her! And I wouldn't be able to stop thinking it was the Galactica either lmao

[personal profile] heroldman 2012-02-13 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
That's true she is. Though I doubt we'll ever get any quiet around with her. And it would be, you could even get that cabin of yours that you wanted.

Well that was an interesting throwaway line, Madame President.
frakandfight: (just a little bloody)

[personal profile] frakandfight 2012-02-13 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately sir, beating the frak out of them doesn't work. As in you can't.

[ Because that's Starbuck's idea of "diplomacy". ]
frakandfight: (friendly/ o rly)

[personal profile] frakandfight 2012-02-13 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Right. And from what I hear where ever we're going might lead us to Earth, too.
frakandfight: (neutral)

And I'm pretty tired of chasing after nothing, Madame President. So maybe this 'Paradisa' won't be so bad, then. Even gives us a bit of a break.

[ They could probably all use a vacation. ]

I doubt that, rather hard to forget something that easily.

Well I know an old man who just might, apparently he likes to build things in his free time.
heroldman: (now see)

[personal profile] heroldman 2012-02-13 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
And what if I like Galactica and the comforts she has better then that?

I think that can be arranged. I should warn you though his only talent in building things recently was a model ship.
heroldman: (subtle smile)

[No he hadn't settled on New Caprica, Galactica was home after all. He couldn't just leave the old girl up there.] Given time, maybe I could, but not now.

I'll let him know then. But what would you do with a cabin near a castle anyway?
