But plastic isn't earth! It's not even metal. It's like... fake metal. What if I can't bend it?

I mean, if anyone's gonna bend it, it's gonna be me. But from what I understand, it's not earth or metal or wood or anything at all.

Plastic is a synthetic, or semi-synthetic, organic polymer used in the manufacturing of industrial products. Does the presence of plastic really cause you that much distress?

Of course - How can I see if everything's half-made out or plastic or linoleum or whatever?

Manipulating rocks and dirt, and stuff like that, basically. So even though I can't see with my eyes, I can tell where everything is through the vibrations I feel in my feet.

I dunno how that's supposed to work though, when everything's made out of this weird mix of plastic and other stuff.

Huh, maybe you can get a cane! You can knock some stuff over and cause some vibrations that way, can'tcha?

Wha... a cane?! Like some kind of helpless old man?! No way! Why should I have to use something like a dumb cane when it's their fault for making everything out of weird fake metal?

You could try learning to see by smell like the Shirshu do.

See by smell, huh? Bending would still be better, but I'm not hampered by silly germophobia as far as seeing by smell goes.
