So, going with the teenager superhero version instead? Gotta say, don't like your choice too much, but that's just me being incredibly disappointed about being unable to electrocute anybody who annoys me. But I can deal since this means ditching the worst parental figure in all of history and not getting in trouble for it.
Also, what you're doing for my dæmon is still not as clever as you'd like to believe. Jackal for a jackal is a bit too obvious, even if I am the angel of death. I still think you should have gone with the raven. Definitely nowhere near as obvious.

Sounds like it would make a good comic book.

I know! The others won't let me call ourselves the Justice League. Or the Avengers. Or even the X-Men. I'm really disappointed in them, actually.

I mean, I don't know what's up with your hateboner for the dreamiest Power Ranger in existence, but Tommy Oliver is like, my spirit animal, man. He is the only one I can ever compare myself to.

Kid, all I can say to that is: I'm truly sorry.
Dreamiest Power Ranger in existence. Wait till Wes gets a load of this crap...

Souls aren't really a thing, where I'm from. Or if they are, people stopped caring.

Eric, what the heck are you getting yourself into now?

[holding out a hand] Wes Collins.

In my experience, there are always souls. People tend not to notice for the most part.
