Sometimes things take time, I've had to explain this to my own mun on more than one occasion.

There is little benefit to be gained indeed, when one rushes headlong into situations not properly planned or thought out.

Exactly. Just have to take the time to find the right place. Sometimes it's hard to get the balance, though, how hard to look versus how much not to push if the fit's not right.

I think, given previous efforts, some time away from the search will do us both some good.

Sometimes it does. A bit of time without looking and without trying to fit somewhere sometimes makes it all a bit more solid. Makes it easier the next time around.

There usually are, just don't let her wear herself, or you, out trying too often or too hard.

It was a city several centuries after my time, with ... odd rules and ways of life. I do not believe more need be said.

She has, in the past. Lessons have been very well learned, in that respect.

That is a lesson mine has yet to learn, but she will, sooner or later.
