Heh, this is kinda cool! I mean, normal's okay and all that except when old folks start argumenting about rutabagas and turnips, but anywhere but Snoozeville is okay with me!

... Just don't let Clark catch me out here, okay? Otherwise he'll just want me to go back, and what am I gonna do then? He still insists he doesn't need help, or that I'm not ready almost all the time, despite all that's happened.

I'm afraid it's a little late for that.

It's nice to see you here, as well- but needless to say I'd rather you avoid getting into trouble?

I know mundanes are the one that control our actions, but still.

[He smiles at her] Yes, it's not like you get in trouble every time I'm not looking, right?

Give her time, though. Sometimes mundanes are intimidated by new muses- and let's face it, you're a lot to handle. I'm sure you'll have fun anywhere you go.

I know Clark well enough to know that he'll appropriate fieldwork as necessary.

All you need to do is ask.

A relatively close analog to yours, I assure you.

As for your being to young? He was your age when he first began mastering his powers.

Perhaps you should focus on that, and he may change his opinion. Gradual as it may be.

He can be known to be over protective. I'm not surprised.

In either case it doesn't seem to be an issue considering that we are no longer necessarily bound by canon in this place, or the games our muns apply us to.

If my mun can solve my icon dilemma, we should meet in what 21st century muns refer to as a meme.

180 as a matter of fact. However the ones imported randomly by dreamwidth were not particularly ideal.

Considering how long it's been since I've been played, I would much prefer that my mun eased back into the role as she is another occupant in her headspace.

Memes are currently preferred to games.

[He hears the glee! And also noted. Mun cannot make justice to Brainy's boundless intellect/moodiness without 100+.]

My mun does have a few suggestions in mind if you'd care to hear them. I have no plans on being placed anywhere for at least another month due to paid account costs.

Makes ya feel any better, you're not the only super with restrictions. Can you believe I actually had a curfew for fighting crime?

'Hurry it up guys, I gotta kick your butt so I can be in bed by ten.'

Just try talking to him. I mean, it makes no logical sense saying no.

I don't exactly know any other superheroes, but I've got a feeling none of them would stop what they were doing just because someone asked 'em to quit. I doubt Clarky's any different.

You need to spread your metaphoric wings, it makes sense. You're a young woman coming into your own.

Clark just has the idea that he has to protect everyone all the time. That includes you. He means well, he really does, but you're going to have to be the grown up here and give him time.

He will come around, and you have a little while before the hero thing becomes a full time job.

Well, that's the case, you should try to compromise with him. Ask him to train you first. He says no to that, you can always point out how you're more likely to get hurt if you don't know what you're doing.

And I am very familiar with that last one. I don't have the luxury of a friend in the hero business, so I got to learn everything the hard way. The really hard way.

[Lesson One: Don't let anyone drop a building on you. It smarts.]

There's a city in Montana called [community profile] sweven that seems to be pulling in quite a few superheroes of the Marvel universe.

That will probably be my mun's game of choice, with singularity being too large and fast paced to handle given the school, work, and the multitude of other games she's been invited to recently.

Tell me about it. You'd need an army of the guy to be everywhere. Heck I can't even cover Manhattan on my own. Not completely, anyway.

And from what the mundane says, Metropolis is the same size as New York, if not bigger.

Course, may not be an army, but if he had somebody else helping out, hey...that's half the city each 'stead of the whole thing.
