 It wasn't something I planned.  Hell, Liara understands, maybe more than anyone else.  Thane.  [She pinches the bridge of her nose and frowns.]  Look, we've got a finite amount of time -- all of us.  Give what you can while you can.  He's dying, he will die.  I'm pretty damn sure he's not gonna see the end of this war, so if I can give him a few more moments of peace?

I'm gonna do that.

There's so much more at stake than feelings.  You go where you go because it's the right thing to do.
