Mun,
You actually thought I stood a chance against Irene Adler in a game that's essentially one giantsensual bluff? I'll admit the stakes were interesting.... but that's assuming I'd even had a chance in hell of winning in the first place! And I think she bit me.
I'm a dead man.

What do you know about her? I've heard a few things, they can't all be true..

At first I thought she was someone who came through my morgue, but...well, o-obviously that can't be right...

[he's just going to look it up right here, but he's got a feeling what it might be]
I get the feeling you're not talking about casually walking through, are you?

[She shakes her head] No, I mean... on-the-slab came through. But obviously that's not right. Must've just been a similar name...

[maybe if he'd look this up ahead of time, he could have spared himself a lot of things. Including being bitten. More than once.]
[someone coming back from the dead should be less surprising. To anyone but Daniel.] Maybe she faked it somehow.
or who knows, maybe she really did come back from the dead.no subject

[A pause] And wear an earpeice as well, just to be safe in case that happens.

Well...y-yeah, except the man who I.D'd the woman in the morgue, well.... he's not the type to make mistakes, really.

Everyone makes mistakes eventually. This one seems like kind of a big one to make, though.

Great detective and uh, amazing eyes aside, either he was right and she was on the slab, and she got over being...dead. Or he was wrong and that wasn't her to begin with.
