After a couple of years and an inevitable emotional meltdown on all accounts.
Just how hard it is even for us poor, fictional souls to sit around in the same environment, doing the same things we always do day in, day out, without it all getting just a little bit uncomfortable for everyone. Finally pushing outside the box! Make it or break it. Find new boundaries. These things hurt, kiddo. We fight with ourselves over change. It's the nature of change. Pushing and shoving until you've become something new; I could go on.
That's good timing, though. Later than expected, but still good, gold star. You tried!
Of course, you really could have just listened to me from the start. "Oh, things will be fine!" you said. "Peachy!", you said. Well. Not everything that comes out of my mouth is... Hm. Gibberish. It's an insult to my and --hopefully, if we can get with the program-- your intelligence, that word.
