I cannot believe...why would even try to bring me here? I realize I can't claim I'm nothing special anymore, not with everything I've learned, but that doesn't mean I can simply abandon my quest, our quest, to just...go to another world.
Uncle Deckard is gone, and Mother can't possibly contain what lies within that twisted gem on her own. I need to be there.
Yes, the thought of some new world to explore, new research, new history, it is...appealing. It would be wonderful, honestly, something even Uncle only ever really dreamed about and-
No. No! I am the only one who can contain the soul gem. I don't know why, but there's just me. I doubt I can even afford to leave mother alone to handle it as long as we've been speaking.
