Well, as they say, them's the breaks.
Maybe they'll learn to take something with a grain of salt after this. Or maybe not. Humanity can be stupid like that, for all the good it's done.

Wherever there's good, there's bad. After a while of putting up with it? You just learn to get with the program and do what needs doing.
Speaking of, good to see you're slowly getting back in top form--hopefully we'll be able to keep up better this time around. We have a lot of things to crack down on, so you'd best get to it, kid. Sitting on your ass with your arms where you can see 'em isn't gonna do you any good.
