At this point all I can think is what more can she honestly do to me? I know where she'll draw the line, it's not like I can have anything more done that hasn't already happened.

I've died three times and I'm still walking, but I've been torn in half by monsters and spend part of my time possessed by malicious spirits. How is that not messed up on some level?

[Mika's face goes a bit odd as she tries to find the most polite way of saying "bugnuts crazy" before she thinks better of it.]

She's a bit shy but got excited to see you around. But yeah, our player is probably more enthusiastic about horror plots than anyone has a right to be but at least she likes to keep us relatively happy aside from that.

It just never seems to get that far before things go all awful again.

[ Boy, he sure could commiserate with that, too. Biting his tongue feels like the smarter move, though. There's an appropriate time for total misery, and this probably isn't it.

...Things'll get better. Maybe there's always something bad, right now, but-- I don't think it'll be that way forever.

[She already knows how his story goes, but the reassuring words still manage to have some effect. The faintest wag of her tail and a slight nod are all she can manage at first as she reaches up to scratch her scalp.]
