No, training your Pokemon "wrong, on purpose, as a joke" isn't going to get you anywhere. [It's also a really elaborate, pointless form of abuse, but that's sort of a given.]

Seriously, just...release it, or give it to someone who treats their Pokemon with respect.  What's the point in just using it as something to point and laugh at?

Training Pokemon wrongly?

I thought she was joking but she's serious.

I could understand training it for something other than battling--she has Pokemon she trains for movies, too, or for transportation, like the Jellicent she takes along when she goes to the sea. At least that's recognizing their potential in something. But training a Pokemon to have no purpose other than to be as useless as possible? She's singling it out, too, so that's even worse.

It's almost like she has no trust in this one.
