It...wasn't so bad. [Even if it was another war, Lacus had enjoyed her time there and had tried her best to help in her own way.] She did? But...that's good. It won't be too dangerous for you there, I hope. [Lacus is well aware that Cagalli is probably more capable than she herself is in defending herself, but nonetheless, she can't help but feel a measure of concern, knowing the basics at the very least of the situation there.]

It's another war, after ours just ended. We're all expected to fight and live like we're settled there. I don't like it.

I guess I missed the worst periods, but I was trying to find other ways to help without getting directly involved in the fighting.

This place seems the same, if you help with the war, you will be sent home? I'm sorry you're forced there so soon after our own war, Cagalli. [To go through it all again, the fighting, the worry about friends, fear of losing them. And possibly even more uncertainty depending on who from home may or may not be there with her.]

Yeah, it stinks. I've got to help Orb recover, but how can I do that if I'm not even there? [Her shoulders fall as she sighs.] If I'm not able to get out of this, I'll do my best to help end it.

There are plenty of other ways to help in a war than fighting on the front lines. [Though part of Lacus does understand it is necessary, why she helped in the final stages to stop the war between the naturals and co coordinators.]

I'm sure you will, Cagalli. And chances are the people back home won't notice you were missing at all, in most of these places. I just hope you don't get hurt. Is there anyone else from home there?

Mm, so I've heard. It's still something I need to wrap my head around, people not noticing or time stopping. [The blonde pauses before continuing.] If all goes well, Athrun will be there, too. Just us, though, there's no you or Kira.

It's quite hard to adjust to the idea, I know. I was just relieved to hear it in knowing it must have meant Kira was not worrying about me back home. If you and Athrun are there, there could well be a chance that Kira and myself might show up there too.

Maybe, but I'm not sure I'd want you guys there. Sure, you'll be missed, but neither of you should go through all that again.

I'm sure. I know I was alone without anyone I knew from home when I was in one of these games, so I imagine it would be comforting to have at least one familiar face. But I'm fine, it's just been a while since my mun ever even considered putting me in a game or watched through the series.
