You don't just fight Bourne. He's more than just a fighter. He's an assassin. A killer. He doesn't miss anything, not ever, and if you go in just thinking you'll fight him he'll kill you quick... if you're lucky. So get fight outta your head if you're even thinking about finding him.

[Bourne and Cross are cut from the same cloth. Aaron may be only slightly more mentally stable, however. Most of Outcome are paranoid, hoarders... Less of the mental inconsistencies of Treadstone, but there were some.]

I'll keep that in mind.

[There's something paranoid and not entirely stable in David too, something that wasn't there at first but is showing itself the longer he talks about Bourne. He steps forward, heedless of personal space, almost in the older man's face.]

You need to do more than keep it in mind. Bourne's stone-cold, do you get that? If he wants you dead, he won't stop until you're a corpse. And if he wants something else from you, he'll do... whatever it takes to get it.

[And David does, twisting his head and looking away. Heart pounding, hands balled into fists at his sides, he's almost shaking. It takes him a few seconds to calm down enough to speak, and when he does, his voice is strained.]

... Bourne's not exactly my favorite guy in the world.

[David glances back to Aaron, clearly laboring to keep himself calm. He's guarded now, wary, the cocky facade forgotten.]

He wanted something from me. If he could've killed me, he would have.

He made a deal with someone. I don't know what the deal was for. He never told me. But to get what he was promised, he had to... to break me, basically. I was a prisoner and the guy running the show was the one Bourne made the deal with.

[He says it all in a flat, dead voice, like he's reciting from a book. The only time he slips is that moment's hesitation.]

Okay, I totally want all the scenes with Bourne... And David, actually. :| Liking their dynamic.
