 Ah, hello again. It's been quite a long time since we've last spoken, hasn't it? Don't worry, I haven't been too bored. So far I've managed to make a very fantastic index of the different shapes of dust bunnies. Oddly enough, not one of them has actually taken a bunny shape, so I suppose it's a relief to know you aren't hare-brained.

The trip does sound awfully exciting. I'm most interested in seeing all the different fish- the pictures in the advertisement make them seem quite colourful. And yes, I suppose it is going to be pretty dark, but that's alright. We've gone into the darkness before and returned with a few interesting stories.

That is the point of all this, isn't it? Stories?

Not this time, I'm afraid. The wildlife of that galaxy was very expansive. But I suppose my odds of being killed by a machine are much, much lower.

Yes, it often came in handy when we were under attack. Or for finding missing socks. [ a wistful sigh ]

Oh! I think I've heard of this place. The one with the bat-shaped men?

I must admit, it's at least half less interesting now.

There are Rifts though. And they have all sorts of shenanigans. Right now, for example, my Mundane is going to have me wake up inside a very large Christmas present.

I imagine that might be very uncomfortable. Will you have to wait inside until Christmas?

I haven't got much experience with boats outside of what I've gotten on this one. The people, I suppose, or figuring out the coordinates. And there's a lot of talking about how much everyone dislikes whoever put us on board.

Fish, however, are not as common acquaintances when you live in Ottery St. Catchpole. Daddy permanently froze the only lake there, unfortunately. Plus, if you think about it, the types of fish should help us determine where we are.

If we find someone who can identify them all properly, maybe. It would be a bit disappointing if it turns out to be that easy after all, though. How did your father permanently freeze a lake?

Oh Daddy was trying a new spell he had created off of a popular muggle incantation. I believe the words were Ice, Ice, Maybe? and it had a particularly devastating effect on Lake Groust.

I suppose I could just be too used to having adventures without any answers by this point. [ Things get that way with the Doctor very quickly. Though, oh, magic. It inspires the natural skeptic within him. ]

Really? That must get quite tiring after a while. Though not having any of the answers means you are free to pursue them.
