You get so excited about looking at games, and yet you don't have the courage to apply with me or any of these other active muses you have in your 'headspace'. You're afraid to, is that it? You're nervous. Scared even. You've seen the movie twice, and yet you are still hesitant.

[Oh he can't help but chuckle.]

No please. Keep looking at games. I'll just sit back and watch you shy away from them so fearfully. It's amusing.

What do you mean you're waiting to read the books first? There's nothing more you need to know about me. Nothing.

[Sure Pitch, sureee.]

[Gee, didn't Pitch and Sandy already chat about this? Someone's giving Pitch one of those knowing, unintentionally irritating looks.]

Oh don't start, Sandy.

[NOT ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR.... 'talks'.]

[Sandy lifts both hands in a sort of defensive gesture. He's not here to start an argument... not over that, anyway. Really, he's more interested in the mention of a frightened mun.

That classic good-dream-unicorn appears above his head. He could help, you know.]

[He lifts his eyebrows before he chuckles again.]

There's need for your sweet dreams. [glances in the direction of his mun.] It's better off this way.

[Sandy frowns a bit, glancing between their two muns. A tall sand-Pitch appears, strings trailing from its moving limbs like a marionette. After a moment the strings go slack and the puppet stops moving.

He's not to keen on some of his muns plans, but without her he wouldn't be doing anything at all in this place. He needs his mun if he's to continue his work... and so does Pitch.]

[kingofnightmares]

[Pitch narrows his eyes at the display.]

Oh trust me, she still has me on a string. But a game? A possible game where I could be reduced down to a mere mortal? To be nothing? To be ruled over by some unknown force?

[A beat.]

Let her be frightened. I'd rather not risk it.

[Sandy sighs and, after a few long moments, nods. He hates to admit it, but he can understand Pitch's position. Unfortunately for the sandman, his mun's already chosen a future home for him.

When he looks up again the Pitch-puppet is in a little sand cage, a question mark trailing behind it. What will he do if his mun does place him somewhere?]

Someone sounds defensive. It's not like you've got any old embarrassing yearbook photos in there or anything, have you?

[kingofnightmares]

[Pitch actually looks thoughtful for a moment.]

It would depend on the situation.

[Sure there were plenty of possible risks when going to a game. Then again, there could be some perks. He could keep his powers and be able to roam freely in a game.

But he glances back down at the fellow dream spirit.]

Is your mun sending you somewhere?

[kingofnightmares]

[He narrows his eyes at Jack before he waves his hand almost dismissively.]

I'm far older than that, boy.

[chaosbound]

[ shrugging because hey you're not the only one, pal. ]

If you say so. What else are you afraid of your mun seeing, then?

[kingofnightmares]

I'm not afraid. She has no business in poking around in my past.

[chaosbound]

Yeah -- unless she's actually interested in learning more about you. Thought you'd appreciate the attention.

[kingofnightmares]

That isn't the kind of attention I'm looking for, Frost.

[chaosbound]

Too bad, then; that's the only kind you'll get. At this stage, anyway.

Nothing at all?

[Sandy nods. Above his head his sand spreads wide. Glowing grains shift and glimmer like stars, and a boat-like craft forms among them. The guardian purses his lips a bit, glances back at his mun, and then shakes his head. The space-boat changes into a cylinder with three spheres attached around its middle.

He's going to a_facility, which his mun has told him is a craft traveling through space. But not a fun craft like a boat Sandy might make, though. Lame.]

[kingofnightmares]

[He nods slowly and sighs heavily, crossing his arms over his chest.

Half of him hopes his mun won't toss him into some game. The other does, however, due to the fact he could be away from the Guardians and he could do as he please without them watching over him.]

We'll see what time will bring for my future.

[kingofnightmares]

I don't want some mortal learning more about me than what I wish for her to know.

[And she could use that to her advantage.]

Nothing. She doesn't need to bother herself with it.

[chaosbound]

[ she's got the right idea! ]

Fair enough - but honestly, I doubt there's very much you can do if she's set her mind to it.

[Sandy withdraws his sand, looking a little troubled. He's thought about what it might be like to travel the stars again, but this isn't how he wants to do it.

He looks up at Pitch and lifts one hand, crossing his first two fingers. They'll both just have to hope for the best, won't they?]
