I keep telling you no! I don't want Peeta on the island it wouldn't be good for him. It's only tolerable for me right now because Finnick is there now. If Peeta were to come it would just upset him. He shouldn't have to be stuck there with me afraid for his life like the rest of us.

Yes but... It really would not be good for him at all. He wouldn't react well to certain things... namely the survival being a necessity thing. I mean he'd do it but... just... it's hard to explain.

It's amazing what the human mind can adapt to if you give it a chance. I mean, I'm not saying you should wish that place on any of your friends ever, but - if they care about you, they'd rather be there and be capable of keeping you safe than be back home where they aren't any good to you at all.

Or hell, how he feels knowing Al is on the island and he hasn't been there to help him. That's applicable to the situation and very much true. ]

You don't have to wish it, but don't go around trying to say it's better for him. How do you think he's gonna feel when he finds out you've been there all this time and he hasn't had any idea? When he finds out you've been dealing with all that - that - stuff and he hasn't had any way to help you? It's better for you, that's what it is.
