Bad things have happened every step of the way, haven't they? But I know that the reason my mun's so dead set on playing it is that she's itching to see how Lee - and you - fight through whatever the challenge of the day is. He's managed to figure everything out so far, right? ...And I know nothing's helped him more than having you on his team.

I heard you're a talented shot now.

Carley! [ A happy greeting, but a surprised one. Someone she actually liked is back from the dead but not trying to eat her, that's enough to shake her out of her slump for a few minutes. ]

I know Lee's gonna find me. He always saves me when I'm in trouble. But...

[ But what if Lee's hurt? Or worse, what if one of the dead people got him? And then he'd end up like Duck, except Duck had his family there to make it better. And if that's what happened, even Lee might not be able to figure it out in the end.

Good people die for bad reasons. That's one of the things that's been the hardest to learn, but it's stuck with her the strongest. Still, she doesn't know how to say all that to Carley even if she wanted to try, so she leaves that part right there.

As for the 'good shot' comment? ] Mhm! Lee taught me himself. I even saved Molly with it.

[ But her mind still can't get over all of the bad things going on. And the bad things that have happened, too. So quietly, she offers: ] Lee misses you a lot. He even made Lilly stay behind, that's how mad he was.

[A little... bemused, for lack of knowing how better to feel. She gets the nuances of why Clementine would be happy to see her, and nothing had or could have prompted her to imagine what it'd be like, coming back from the dead - as yourself in a world where turning into an all-devouring mindless monster no less - and talking to someone who knew it.

She understands and moves with Clementine skirting the uncomfortable questions for now - and smirks, you adorable little badass-lady-in-the-making, you.] He knew he'd be missing my gun and missing it soon - I, for one, am proud of you. Molly, huh? I had also heard you'd picked up a handful of new people.

I know how odd this is gonna sound - I've been... dead, after all - but, I miss him, too. It's good to know you've all been getting by since... what happened with Lilly, obviously, but... I don't know. [Wistful smile.] Lee's a good man. You can trust him to do everything he can to look after people, and it felt great knowing he trusted me, too, and - even as tough as it was, it made me glad, being a part of our group.

Yeah, but that's not for very long. And then I have to go back to this bad place with walkers and no chalk and a mean man with a fire poker. [ One of her roommates in Haven is Sherlock, and he's told her in vivid detail the ease with which he could stab her with said fire poker. Not a Happy Clem. ]
