[M-21 sees the doll, and then looks around, trying to see if there's a kid nearby, looking like they've lost something.

He doesn't see one, and then stoops down to pick up the doll.

Maybe he can find the lost and found or something.]

[ The doll is limp in his hands, a smile upon her face. ]

[M-21 looks it over for a second, making sure he hasn't accidentally left any parts of it behind and it doesn't have any dirt on it.

After that, he's holding it in his right hand as he walks off, still with an eye out for distressed looking kids.]

[A pause as the angel's head tilts to the side a moment as he picked the doll up slowly.There are no children here that he has noticed so what is a toy doing here? How strange.]

[cueexplosion]

[Well, that's odd.

Bomb Man glances around, then squats down to pick Jessie up.]

Well, who could've lost you around here, I wonder...

[ Jessie doesn't move, her hat tipping back as she's lifted off the ground. She didn't know where her mun was or what was going on, but she knew that the best way to stay safe was to not let anyone know she was alive... At least not humans, anyway. ]

[ When this robot moves to pick her up, Jessie is quick to jump up, doing a couple flips backwards to avoid capture. ]

Not so fast!

[cueexplosion]

[OKAY, THAT WAS UNEXPECTED.

Bomb Man stumbles back, and lands on his backside with a hearty thump, gawking at the now-moving toy. He shakes his head, then taps on it a couple of times with his fist.]

Did that just happen, or am I seein' things?

[ She blinks, having not expected the 'bot to react in such a way. Suddenly, a thought hits her... What if he's... not a toy? ]

Uhm, pardon me? I didn't mean to startle you like that. [ She adjusts her hat. ] You from around these parts?

[ Best not to dwell on it and just get some answers. ]

[Felix peers at the doll, curious. He looks around to see if there was a child nearby. But none were to be had.

Carefully, he kneels down next to the doll.]

Golly, I'd hate to lose a doll like this. [Any kid would be devastated to lose their doll! Poor thing. He wonders what game it came from.

Felix looks around once more, double checking, before he reaches a gloved hand down to pick it up...]

[ Since he looks so human, Jessie doesn't dare move. It was unfortunate that she'd never encountered such a prominent video game character before! She never had been to an arcade, after all...

For now she keeps still, that trademark smile ever present on her plastic face. ]

( vanellope tilts her head at the toy. )

Huh, what do we have here?

[He takes her up into hands, holding the doll with great care, feeling the delicate limbs. The handyman can't help but smile, looking over the craftsmanship of the doll. He sets her in his hand so that she's sitting on his palm.]

Would you look at that! That detail and artistic talent...

[He adjusts her hat on her head. Felix grins, the corners of his eyes wrinkling.]

Amazing!

[ Oh, a little girl! Jessie doesn't move, but inside she's at least excited. ]

[ Hearing him describe her like that gives her a good feeling inside. At least some people still knew a great toy when they saw one! Hopefully he wasn't a collector... She certainly didn't want to be stored away alone, without any of her friends. ]

[Felix admires the doll for a moment before holding her in the crook of his arm, lifting his other hand over his brow, frowning ever so slightly.]

Gosh, I wish I knew where your owner was. They must be worried sick about you.

[glitchups]

( she approaches closer and picks it up, studying it. )

Do you do anything or what?

( oh, she finds a string. pulls it. )

[ As she's being carried (and making sure M-21 can't see her), Jessie's expression turns to one of concern. What will happen to her now? ]

[ That's right-- Bonnie... Jessie could only hope she was at Daycare. That way maybe she could get back before Bonnie got home. Jessie knew how important it was to keep rules in place, but sometimes she wished she could break them all if it meant getting back home. ]

[ Once her string is pulled, an aged audio recording plays. ]

Howdy! I'm Jessie! Sure is nice ta meet'cha!

The name's Jessie? Nice to meet'cha, too.

( she studies the toy more, removing her hat then putting it back on. vanellope glances around and sees there's no one else around or any other toys. )

Where's ya horse? A cowgirl's gotta have their horse.

[He side-eyes the doll.]

I know you're alive, if you want to call it that. You can stop pretending to be inanimate.

[Felix frowns a little. There's no one around. But there was no sense in leaving this doll behind.]

I'll keep you company until your owner comes back. Hopefully.

[ Oh, Bullseye. Technically, he was Woody's horse, but Jessie and him were the best of friends. She couldn't very well answer the girl, but she was definitely a little downhearted. ]
