Not quite an epic fail, but an utter failure...
You didn't uphold your promise to write an application for that other fella that you promised yourself you would. And that's OK. No, really, it's fine because it's not the end of the world (for him or you) and there's always next month, right?
But you do already have an application filled out for me. I'm one of the survivors, so to speak. Just give it a little spit shine and it'll be like new - we both know a little saliva never bothered me. And if I can survive Uijeongbu with Ferret Face, I can survive anywhere.
