Okay... so let me just see if I have this right.
You meet this guy at Video Games Live. He seems really nice. He opens doors for you, and teases you, and pats your head, and pokes you, and even cheers for you when you go onstage! Not to mention he bought you snacks during intermission!
And you give him your number, and right after you get back to your dorm, he calls you.
...And you think he wasn't flirting?
Mun! This is really unfair! I'm the flirting master and all the girls reject me, and you're so shy and moe that all the guys go for you!
