Zombies? Really? A-and on Halloween?

[ a huff; a roll of her eyes; a saucy solidity to her crossed arms. ] Halloween is supposed to be the night when demons are a little less demonic -- which makes it the Slayer's night off, too. I should be -- u-uhm -- sipping cider and playfully complaining about how often I have to answer the door, dishing out treats for the costumed kiddies. I should not be pitching in to stop a plague-fest. And don't even look at me with those filthy wanna-get-you-infected eyes; you know I'm not much with the damselling.

Normal people would be...well, running and screaming right about now. But after that? They'd be demanding double-pay. Time-and-a-half. A Halloween bonus. [ but she doesn't get paid, so... ] I'm expecting some major deferred holiday compensation, keyboard girl. Or else you and me are gonna have words.

It seems like his height would make him especially clumsy or loud, but he's like a cat, creeping in that slow orbit.]
