He's leaving, He's leaving and I might never see him again and this is what you think will make me feel better? Yelling at you here, where everyone can see it?
I hate you. [She scowls and the anger dies a little. A lost and haunted look crosses her face as her own words sink in. He's leaving. [Her words break off into a sob. It hasn't happen yet. It won't happen for a couple more days. For now, she can try to live in ignorance. She can enjoy the next two days, the last few moments she has with him. And after that? After that, she'll have to be strong. The Careers are still there. She can't let them see her weak. Not again.
It'd be easier if she could just leave, too. She wracks her brain for every threat, every excuse that she can think of. There has to be some reasoning, some way to convince her Gamemaker to let her go back to Panem with him. To District Twelve. A castoff Mockingjay, unwanted and unneeded by anyone but him.
