I don't like a lot of your reasons, but I like some and the important ones are there and I think that if there's anything I can do? Or anything that I can contribute then I want to be there to do it.
But yes, that does mean you need to draft a permissions post and at least let people know what I can do...digitally so there aren't any surprises.
