Are you... sure about this? I—I mean, there are really so many other options available to you. What about the one you already have in a game? Would it be wise to to pick up an additional character? After all, a person can only give so much attention to a hobby and... I would greatly... prefer that if you do go through with this, that you will pick a location suitable for the living...?

Not—oh goodness—I didn't mean to imply that I don't want anything to do with the deceased. I would like very much to see them again! But I... I'm still alive. Though yes, death will come for me eventually, I think it would be best if you selected one of those "slice of life" games. Yes, those sound very safe! And perhaps, should the rules of the game allow, I may see my friends who live "downstairs."

I was told that it could be equated to a slice of pie. A pie where one may carry on with their life or... unlife, I suppose, exactly the way he or she wants. You don't suppose she was lying to me, do you?

If one were to put it simply... I suppose the answer would be "yes."

Well, not... really? Sort of?
I've been seeing ghosts since I was born, but I... guess I talk to them willingly.

Does that really not frighten you?

No, I'm sort of used to it.
And most ghosts are actually pretty nice.

I can't say I disagree with that. In fact, most of the dead folks I've met have been rather cheerful and accommodating. Very much different from of the world of the living at times.

That's why I didn't really have any living friends for a while.

But you got them eventually, yes? Because I imagine it would be rather lonely, otherwise.

I think there are many games to which the dead are allowed entrance.

I didn't have any for a long time though. And I was... mostly okay with it.

Are there any that you would recommend?

The game I'm in has been called slice-of-life, but it's not without its dangers. There have been monsters around, though from what I've learned they aren't that common. It's

somarium. We're in a kind of dream world there.

I'm not sure I'm the best person to offer a statement on this, but... being without friends isn't entirely bad. You can focus on your hobbies and... refine your skills. But I should think having at least one close friend is a natural part of life. The kind of thing we all ought to experience at least once.

And I don't... think it makes much of a difference if that person is living or dead, as long as you're friends.

A... happy dream world? Or a nightmarish world?

Yeah, I sort of had to find that out. I liked to be alone, but I'm glad I have my friends now.
Both the living and the dead ones.

It's neither. There are nightmareish things that have happened, and good things. It's like life that way.
