Such extreme measures should be saved only as a last resort. Allow me to rephrase the question. Has anyone started working on an antidote which doesn't end with the infected becoming deceased?

Umbrella's the only one with the cure, and really it spreads so fast it's the most humane way of dealing with an outbreak. Take them put before they decide you're lunch.

If this Umbrella has an antibiotic which staves off the disease then why is it not being mass produced and used as an inoculation?

[In all honesty she knows why they aren't. If they do that then there's less of a profit margin for them. Keeping the cure to themselves and in limited supply ensures that the charge for such a worthwhile drug can remain high.

That doesn't mean she has to like it.]

Is anyone working on re-creating said cure?
