Thoughts about the season premiere. Spoilers goes without saying.

So many conflicted feelings when it came to this starter episode, wasn't it, dearie? You'd think that with their memories back, and magic in the land, everyone would be content enough to sit at home and have a good chat with each other. No need to concern themselves with thoughts of revenge, of thinking of what terrible deeds had been done to each other because of a silly little curse. It wasn't my fault that the savior and her mother ended up where they are.

Am I rambling? I'm sorry, I thought I had given everyone their happy endings back. We all gained what we had lost, in the end. But, some people are just never satisfied, regardless if they're in a magic enriched land, or a city where everything they could ever want is right at their fingertips.

I'm still waiting for my thank you, as well.

I brought it to take care of Regina. She was supposed to be gone, not Emma and her mother.

I did not go against your wishes. I promised not to kill her myself. If Regina happened to die, then it would have been because of the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the appearance of a monster in our world.

If they had done what needed to be done, they wouldn't be in the position they're in.

Happy endings....[It's been difficult for her, adjusting to being outside her little box again, very difficult. But if she's anything it's strong-willed, even if it may take her a little longer to get from point a to point b now. She's working on it.]

Happy Endings are hard work, but they're worth it. I'm sure of it. We just have to try.

I never said not to try. [He didn't. Sort of.] But we place so much stock in the ideal, that perhaps the effort that goes into it...

Well. Some happy endings may not ever be meant to be.

I refuse to believe that. Maybe pushing for the ideal is what makes it all that much more worth it.

How much are you expected to lose to gain, dearie? A life, the lives of others, family, friends, a home... I don't know if losing certain things make it better in the end.

[Oh, those are the wrong words to choose, the wrong ideas to imply much less state outright. It's hard enough for her to be happy about anything now. No family, no friends, no freedom, no home. No love on top of that for too long, and now she has him at the very least. For a moment she looks angry, disappointed.]
