Well, when cats are happy, they *do* purr, right?
You're blowing this purring thing a little out of proportion, aren't you?

It's some kick my mun is on. It seems to fascinate her that I purr.

Really? I only ask because where I come from cats are generally much smaller. And not as bipedal.

So I've heard from a lot of other people. On Third Earth, we have some animals like that. Not cats though, cats are more like myself. We come from a lot of different clans and different types but we're all cats.
And there are other beasts too.

You're telling me.
It
can
be amusing sometimes. Just this once though, the joke is starting to wear out it's humor.

Just once? You always were a lot more patient than me.

It's a cleric's nature to be patient. Unless the situation calls for immediate action, of course.

And that's why I'd never make it as a cleric. Well, that and the fact that I'm King.

[She huffs a laugh there.]
We both have roles we work well in then. We can't all be clerics just like we can't all be Kings.

Right, right.
I guess I still need to work on the patience thing though, don't I?

At least you put it better than Tygra or the others might.

[There's amusement in her tone.]
I probably put it better than you would to Tygra or the rest of them too.

I... er, well... hahah ahhh what were we talking about before?
[Not him and his faults! Yeah, need to get back on topic. Whiskers.]
Muns and purring. That's it.

[She's gracious enough to let the topic drop, even if she
does
smirk just a little. It's a little amusing to see you scramble, King.]
Something like that. My mun is easily entertained but she does love hanging on to her bits of headcanon.

[Plenty of silent gratitude here. Yes, moving on now.]
Mine's the same way and spent a lot of time listening to exactly what it sounds like when a lion purrs.

Mine has done the same. It must be pretty common then, unfortunately.

Probably more common than either of us think, and it doesn't look like anything we say will ever get them to stop.

Likely not. They can get pretty focused, it seems.
At least they do think about us though. I
suppose
that's a positive depending on the thoughts they have.

I'd rather it be good thoughts or none at all.
