I am unsure whether I should agree to this ridiculous idea of yours. Going to a city that is not my home, far from my people and more advanced than that which I am familiar with. It seems pointless in my eyes.

Never you mind that only two of the icons you have made for me are of how I am meant to look in these films you are so excited for while the rest consist of "fanart". It's distasteful. Shall I add that you've also read only The Hobbit and that is all that you know of my story?

You'll need much more knowledge than simply that to 'play' me anywhere. At least you have a vast collection of books regarding the world I hail from, mundane.

I can name quite a few reasons as to why Thorin Oakenshield as I cannot be friends. He has trespassed in my woods, terrified my people and when he reclaimed his halls in the Lonely Mountain, he refused to surrender a fair share of Smaugs' treasure with Bard, who has a rightful claim to part of it. Instead, the summoned an army to defend his mountain and his gold.
