So, finally found some initiative, huh? The kid will put a fire like that in most people. It's about time too because I was getting sick of being second best. -yeah well... As long as you're paying attention I might be able to look the other way on prize titles. Just this once.

You're just warming me right up kid. [Said with that tease but there's a real sense of genuine tone in it.]

I can't like. I wouldn't mind having you around. But it's not a place most people from outside enjoy being at.

Well if you're there I think that's plenty enough to find enjoyment in. It's not like I really have better things to do. [Is being a sage after everything is fixed all that important anyway? Naaaaaaaaaah.]

You have Hyrule to help rebuild... but you know how time is on the island, too.

[She'd understand about it not mattering so much that she'd been brought there.]

I'd have to ask Zelda, but maybe you could come live at the treehouse with us.

She's there too, huh? Seems like you've found yourself a nice little lifestyle over on that island.

[Link was quiet for a moment before looking down and smiling.]

No. I found more than that. I found a home.

I'm looking at you aren't I. [A light smirk and she pokes his forehead. Covering.]

[He gave a light laugh and ducked his head, but didn't let her get away with the deflection.]

Besides me. I don't know that many myself.

Not many travel the way you do. I think the destination of seven years past or future is out of reach for others. [Too bad she keeps going.]

[The time travel was never what bothered him.]

Mmm... not many have a hard time finding a place to belong. It was like that for you in the Gerudo, wasn't it? Because you didn't follow Ganondorf happily the way the others did.

[She looks away. Not frowning but not smiling anymore either. Definitely not happy.]

[He stepped around to look at her face.]

[Damn your persistence. She at least looks at him when he does.]

If I get lucky enough it seems that home might be with you. I think that's enough.

[He blinks.

He realizes the implications of that - considering where his home is and all.

He blushes and backs off.]

I don't think he and I will get along very well. [Blunt.]

[Why is he not surprised?]

He's not so bad.

[She looks like she wants to say something but can't. Or doesn't. In the end she closes her eyes in an almost frustrated manner and draws a breath before speaking.]

Since you're dating him it's probably better you don't talk about him with me. [Because with the way he was talking about you and conducting his business she does not approve. But she likes you. And if that's what makes you happy then.... well, so be it. Sigh.]

[That hurt and it showed for a moment before he managed to fake a smile and nod.]
