You continue to disappoint me, mundane. Your high-minded ideas of progress and change were what led to our separation, and simply because you're fond gives you no excuse to simply pull me out for your own amusement.

I'm a busy man, and I have no time for your whims. If you want to do something, then take initiative, rather than simply occupying my time with nonsense. If you had a plan, then perhaps we could speak on this further. Until then, I have more pressing matters to attend to.

For some, perhaps. I've found that advantages can be found from even a dire circumstance, but I don't like being inactive.
