That there was nothing weird in Gravity Falls, and that it was a perfectly normal little town. But one day, while the boy was hanging up signs for his great uncle's museum in the forest, he found something very unusual. It was a false, hollowed-out tree, with an odd metal box inside of it. The boy flipped several switches and pushed many buttons on the metal box, when suddenly, a tiny hidden door opened on the ground. In this secret compartment, the boy found a book. A book with a six-fingered hand, and the number "3" on the cover...
