The Doctor said that River is frozen in time back home, I know... but that still does not make it any easier to be separated from her, as pathetic as I feel admitting that to myself. I would not mind seeing her again... or any of the crew for that matter.

Given time, I feel like I could even begin to miss Jayne.

All the same, mun, why not try taking the advice I was given and get me out meeting new people? Sure, not all of them are going to develop into close friendships, but I cannot stay locked up in the clinic or in my room forever.

We have been through worse things together, and we will weather this.
