Okay, look, mun... person... thing. I understand that I'm just too awesome and adorable and amazing to keep from wanting me around. I do. But if you're going to keep me around, I'm going to need more icons so I can fully flex my beautiful expressions.

Second off, I have to ask. How do you stay warm!? You're like a hairless... squirrel... without a tail. Seriously, how do you do it?

Clothes, mostly! They wear a ton of 'em.

So do most warmbloods, but we Nimbats have such luxurious fur that we don't need clothes.

[Smug smirk is a go.]

Ha ha, I can tell! Can't say I've ever met a Nimbat before, though.

Well, we Nimbats are a rare and elite tribe that watches over the Five Blades of Elysium. We kinda stick close to the sword we're tasked with guarding.

...Speaking of which, have you seen a talking sword around?

A talkin' sword? Gosh, can't say I have. Only thing I have that could fit that description would be this fella here.

[Suddenly SPARKLE-SHOWER and then he's holding the Keyblade in his hand.]

Yeah, he goes by 'Ahrah.' He's kinda... wordy at times. Kinda long, and black with... some... notches...

[Oooooooh. Shiny. Fidget darts around like an excitable fly. Albeit a much more adorable fly.]

Oh wow! I've never seen anyone pull a sword out of thin air! Not even Dust can do that! ...Granted he pulled a sword out of a cave from across a continent. ...Without meaning to.

Huh. Sounds like he and that sword was really meant to be then, if it was that eager to find him. At least I presume that a talking sword has some say in who it picks as a wielder- right?

It's... hard to explain... ...because I didn't really read the guardian manual as much as skim it... ...but yeah. Ahrah and Dust have a sort of connection.

I don't believe I've seen one of you before, that I haven't.

It's only natural that you haven't seen someone as beautiful and amazing like myself. I'm a Nimbat, Sword Guardian of the Blade of Ahrah!

[She grins and flits around him, excitedly.] I'm Fidget!

[ All Kenshin can do is smile at Fidget's ~~adorable~~ actions. ]

I have not come across one that claims to be affiliated with the sword yet bears so little malice.

[Fidget rolls her eyes, or at least tries to, given that she has no pupils.]

It's kind of hard to get mad when every time you do, the sword lectures you like some kind of boring teacher.

[She puts her paws on her hips and drops her voice to mimic Ahrah.] It is unladylike to get mad at a shortage of cookies! You must learn discipline, Fidget. Cookies don't grow on trees, you know.

[She sighs and gets a wistful twinkle in her eyes.] Ah... chocolate chip trees... now that would be an ideal world...

The sword speaks to you...?

Yeah. It's getting it to shut up that's the trick.

If it's words upset you, think of the sword as a small stone striking a pond: it's words are the ripples created which fade over time, that they do.

It isn't what he says, it's how he says it. All wistful and mysterious and wise-sounding... where does he get off being so... so... cool!?

I'm supposed to be the cool and cute one!

Warmbloods, hairless or otherwise, have differing ways of keeping themselves warm Fidget.

Arrah! There you are! [She looks around a bit.]

...Where's Dust?

That I am not sure of myself, Fidget. I had hoped he would be by your side, but it seems I am mistaken. While normally I would be able to discern his location, it seems this world's logic functions differently than our own.

[Fidget deflates a bit before perching on Arrah's hilt.]

I know he's here, somewhere... he can't have just vanished... [She crosses her arms in an attempt to hide just how much she misses Dust.]

But when I find him, I'm going to give him such a beating...

... Well, if that's the case I'm sure they'll find each other again, even if it's in a place like this.

oh man this game. I would so love to play it but I don't have Xbox360. Or cash.

It's sooooo fun. Tons of 4th wall jokes too. Break down a wall? Have a Mysterious Wall Chicken.

... I AM weak to Castlevania references, that I am.

There's references out the wazoo. Even a "SEVEN" reference. A quest called "What's in the box!?"

... Please tell me it doesn't end badly for the heros loveinterest (if there is one)

I'm not telling. Too good a story to spoil. I'm sure there's a Let's Play on Youtube or something.

I shall have to set a couple of hours aside, then.

SO totally worth it.

I still need to finish this game. D:

SO GOOD.

I think the biggest plot point I stopped at was the underground village.

Mudpot is definitely fun. Lots of character development there too.
