This sure isn't Deadwood.
It can't always be a bad thing, finding yourself at a crossroads. Life's full of 'em. Just take your time and figure out what it is that you want... things'll fall into place after that. It's the same thing Chaynah always told me, and the advice hasn't been wrong yet.
But if you're really thinking of sendin' me somewhere, I'd mighty appreciate if you could make sure Dakota comes with me and that old Joe isn't too far behind. I wouldn't want him to be getting into trouble at some saloon and truth be told, it gets too quiet without his nagging.

I just imported this guy today :P I FEEL LIKE I SHOULD TAG YOU WITH HIM THEREFORE
Nothing good seems to happen in those games.
I ACCEPT THIS REASONING AND ADOPT IT AS MY OWN
IT'LL COST YOU $5
[Not that Phillip cares much for Native American sayings.]
/gladly pays up
Don't think I caught your name yet, stranger.
Whoo! I'm rich!
Of course, he doesn't say anything to share his thoughts, only replies meekly.]
Phillip Morgan.
we should start a fund for new import muses~
It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr Phillip Morgan. My name's Jane... Calamity Jane, they call me. Would I be right in reckoning you're from back east?
Or an Ellis Isle type thing :P
Likewise, Miss Jane.
[Her way of speaking irks Phillip. She reminds him a bit of Janet in mannerism, but her command of the English language is a bit too rough for his liking.]
Yes, you would be right. I'm from New York. Where are you from?
that would be an awesome meme
But if you're asking where from originally...
[ She makes a slight face. ]
Boston, by way of Atlanta.
Everyone gets new names, shipped off to, like, Kansas...
[Idle small talk.]
gets assigned random jobs...
Discriminated against, depending on their various ethnicities...
ngl I kind of want this as a meme now.
"ANIME? WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR KIND 'ROUND HERE, STEALIN' OUR JOBS!"
Is that right?
oh man lol, except then people would take that oocly and ruin it.
People are people no matter where they live or where they're from, but they don't all get treated the way they should. Not sure it'd be the same as in fancy New York City, but crime is crime.
Eh, that's always a risk, Ignore 'em.
Have you ever visited New York before?
true!
Not sure Dakota would appreciate a train ride that long though.

You could always come by plane.

[Pause.]
You don't know what that is?

1/2
2/2
Yes,...yes, I think it can.
[What a stupid question to ask.]
Re: 2/2
A gentleman wouldn't keep the joke to himself, 'less it was on account of it being in bad taste.

[She seems unhappy now and Brandon's not here to diffuse the situation. Phillip manages to cut off his amusement at the innocuous comment.]
It's nothing. Don't mind me.

Bet you'd like the West, if you ever saw it. Just don't let Wild Bill rope you into a poker game and you'd be right as rain.

[He doubts it. Then again, it's not like he's going to get to see it.]
I don't have much interest in poker anyhow.

I don't have one.

[He frowns.]
I don't know where I would go.

Is that the right way of it?

[Perhaps it's different with Jane's mun...Phillip can only speak for himself.]

I'm thinking mine just wants to make sure I'll find a place where I'm not... lost in the crowd.
'Course she doesn't ask my opinion on it, too much.
