In their defense, other guns don't have the habit of exploding after a few shots. Also, that's technically my pet project.

Supposedly this world causes weapons to "evolve" with you. Which is a terrible way of saying they probably shove them full of nanites and have them improve the gun.

I've been improving the lightning gun over the last sixty some odd years myself, and don't know if I want little computers playing with it.
